The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria is already 701,469. 2,954,698 PCRs and 3,714,232 antigen tests were performed (a total of 6,668,930), and the average percentage of positive samples since the beginning of the pandemic is 10.51 percent – a decrease of 0.03% on a daily basis.

There are 684 patients admitted to intensive care units – 18 less on a daily basis. 3323 people have recovered and the total number is now 570 241. 113 people died – 1 less than Thursday, when there were 114 victims. Thus, the total number of those who lost the battle with the virus in Bulgaria is already 28,769.

The Ministry of Health has already provided data on the proportion of those infected, hospitalized and deceased who have not been fully vaccinated. During the last 24 hours, 80.95 percent of those who tested positive were not immunized. 87.32% of those admitted to hospital are also unvaccinated. Among those who died for the day, 87.61 percent do not have vaccinations. A total of 17,481 medical personnel are among the official cases of coronavirus, ie. by 33 more.
