EU ambassadors gave the green light to 12 reconstruction plans – piszenext.gazeta.pl, referring to the findings of Beata Płomecka from Polish Radio. Earlier, the programs were approved by the European Commission.

The final approval for the implementation of the plans is to be expressed by the finance ministers of the member states during a meeting to be held in the coming days. There is no Polish application among them.

The first EU support will be granted to, among others, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, Germany and Italy. So far, the European Commission has approved 16 national recovery plans.

The European Commission blocked the Hungarian project. Brussels has concerns about protection against corruption and misuse. Hungary was to receive more than EUR 7 billion from the fund.

– There were Member States that made it before us. These Member States will be able to receive the advance payment presumably in July. Currently, the European Commission positively assessed 14 plans.
