Moon Studios claims it has nothing to share regarding an Ori and the Will of the Wisps port on Switch and that it would be difficult to move to 60fps – Nintenderos

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is an action-style platformer metroidvania developed by Moon Studios and distributed by Xbox Game Studios.

The original title called Ori and the Blind Forest It was released on March 11, 2015 on Xbox One and PC, but the following year it received an improved version with more content with the “Definitive Edition” tag. This new version was released on March 11, 2016 on Xbox One and on April 27, 2016 on PC. Finally, at the end of last September, this improved version arrived for the first time on a new platform, Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately for users of the hybrid console, as was said at the time, its sequel, called Ori and the Will of the Wisps, será exclusiva de Xbox y PC. However, nintenderos fans of the title are not resigned to see the title on their platform and during a recent Reddit AMA, the developer studio of the series, Moon Studios responded to some requests for a possible title release on Switch.. Unfortunately, the company has nothing to share about bringing the sequel to Switch these days, and even if they did, chances are Will of the Wisps would never work as well on Switch as the first installment did:

We love Switch! But right now we have nothing to share when it comes to Ori and the Will of the Wisps port. If it ever happened, I can tell you that it would be extremely difficult to get the port to work at 60fps, that’s for sure!

It seems that the fans of Switch will have to settle for the moment with its first part. Finally we remind you that Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is available in digital format, through the Switch eShop, from September 27, 2019.
