Montpellier wins against Chambéry

The Savoyards initially had a very good first period in the Hérault to finally see the match turn in favor of Montpellier after 35 minutes of play, losing in the end (36-29). Despite Alejandro Costoya’s serious injury from the outset, the CSMBH made life difficult for the locals with Gustavo Rodrigues on fire in the sweltering FDI Stadium, incandescent. But Diego Simonet, comfortable in these conditions, got up to speed. The Chambériens, never led before the 36th minute, saw the MHB equalize then go ahead thanks to Benjamin Bataille. Chambéry will never see his opponent again. The beasts were released, with Kyllian Villeminot and captain Valentin Porte finishing. Montpellier unrolled (31-24, 47th), with a 14-7 passed in 17 minutes during the second act. The defeat is finally heavy. Chambéry will want to have a good home outing on June 8 (8:30 p.m.) against Saran, who will play for his maintenance. For its part, Montpellier will challenge Aix.
