In order to make its weekly market in the neighborhood of City Gozetthe municipality of Montlucon decided to implement several improvements. These will be effective from Sunday, May 7, 2023.
The first development consists of locating the market on a single major axis in the city center of Montlucon. This axis will concentrate all the tradespeople from place Jean-Dormoy and avenue de la République. The latter will thus be repositioned, so that the places are kept permanently, which will give more points of reference to customers.
The last will be the reopening to traffic and parking in the adjacent streets (rue du Capitaine Segond, rue de la Bascule and rue du Canal). The aim is to facilitate traffic in the city.
