Monetizing Your Creativity on TikTok: How to Use the New ‘Series’ Feature to Get Paid

In March, TikTok announced good news for creators, who will soon be able to charge for their content. The new ‘Series’ feature was initially available to individual content creators, but is now available in 94 countries to get paid for an exclusive collection of premium quality videos.

For Series, creators can charge anywhere from $1 to as much as $190 for access to a single collection of videos. A maximum of 80 videos of up to 20 minutes can be included in one series. It should be noted here that TikTok creators can post videos up to 20 minutes long, while regular users are limited to 10 minutes.

To qualify for this monetization feature, a creator must meet several requirements. For example, you must be an adult or 18 years old, you must have at least 100,000 followers, your user account must be active for at least 30 days, you must have posted at least three public videos on TikTok that have been viewed at least 1,000 times in the last 30 days. Users who are repeat violators of TikTok’s policies and rules will not be eligible for this monetization option.
