The skilled Syrian artist, Mona Wasef, expressed her delight in visiting Dubai’s “Rashid” Center for Determination, describing it as “human”, “wonderful” and “gifting”.
Wassef expressed his amazement at the center and the medical and humanitarian attention it provides to the children, as he had previously heard about the Rashid Center without seeing it, adding that he did not expect what he was seeing for all intents and purposes (care, creativity, ..), because he saw what he did not believe, like the painter and the dancer, who did not hear.
Wassef spoke to the children’s families, saying that their children, children of determination, are lucky to be in this center and to receive this kind of care and attention. She wondered why she was surprised because “this is Dubai”.
In the same context, director Rasha Sharbatji said this visit extended her positive energy and gave her hope for the future. Lei sharbatji indicated that she studied child psychology and studied a master’s degree in children with special needs, and that is what brought her back 20 years.
