Mom’s life, suicide attempt, Diam’s confides without filter on his life

Coming soon to his own documentary Salamwhich will be released on July 1, Mélanie, alias Diam’s, spoke in an exclusive interview in seven to eight on TF1 this June 26, 2022. While she has not given an interview for 7 years, the rapper, now a mother and philanthropist, has come a long way, in silence.

“I have a life of a mom”

In this exclusive interview, Mélanie, confided without filter on her past, and in particular on her suicide attempt when she was only 14 years old. “I asked myself questions from a very young age, I wondered about the injustices, the wickedness of some, the ingratitude of others”.

She also spoke about her father’s absence: “I suffered greatly from his absence, but it was not the only problem in my life”. She adds : “When I was 14 and I woke up from my suicide attempt, I wrote a text that I will release years and years later, and indeed at that moment I realize that it makes me good to write. It’s like a little refuge. I take a paper and a pen and it does me good”.

Mother of three children, Mélanie devoted herself to her family life after having known the celebrity. Faced with questions from journalist Audrey Crespo Mara, Diam’s confided in this new life: “I have a life of a mom. That is to say that me, my life, it is around my children. My children who get up in the morning, who have to go to school, my children who come home from school, homework, etc. I’m like all moms, and any mom will tell you it fills a day. (…) This family is a bit like a dream. Even if I know that we can build ourselves without, I have experienced hardships, I have been divorced in my life. I’m not saying it’s a whole, but it’s part of my balance. »
