“Moldova Shows Resilience in Face of Russian Aggression: Joint Declaration Praised by Baltic, Nordic and Moldovan Foreign Ministers”

Moldova, which is a neighbor of Ukraine, feels the pressure and threat of the war started by Russia.

Ministers of foreign affairs of the Baltic, Nordic and Moldovan countries agreed on a joint declarationin which he praised Moldova for its ability to withstand the pressure, inflation, energy crisis, mass disinformation attempts, hybrid threats and not backing down from the condemnation of the war in these difficult conditions, besides opening its doors wide to Ukrainian refugees.

Moldova, with a population of only two and a half million, has provided assistance to almost a million people. In the declaration, the foreign ministers also emphasized the commitment of the Moldovan government to fulfill the criteria to get closer to the European Union, and promised to support the country on its further path.

Latvia is represented at the meeting by Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkēvičs.
