The jury of the 46th session consisted of the Film Society, critic Kamal Ramzy, head of the committee, and the membership of director Hany Lashin, director Hala Khalil, director and scriptwriter Mohamed Abu Seif, interior design engineer Fawzi Al-Awamari, director of photography and professor of the Film Institute Dr. Mohamed Aser, the Editor and Professor Editing Rahma Montaser, the film critic Magda Morris, the film critic Osama Abdel-Fattah, the film critic Mohammed Al-Roubi and finally the great artist Izzat Al-Alayli.

The session is dedicated to the late critic Youssef Sharif, may God bless him, for his great role as one of the first members of the association since its inception, in addition to being a mobile encyclopedia of world cinema, as he took over the presidency of the Film Society in Cairo from 1980 to 1998, and was also the president of the sessions of the festival held by the association in that period also, He was also one of the first members of the association, and he was also responsible for the foreign presentations that were presented within the association’s activity, and the seminars that were held after it to discuss it.

The participating films were shown at the Artistic Creativity Center cinema in the Opera House, which is “The Guest” by Hadi Al-Bagouri, which was shown after the opening ceremony, “The Secret Men Club” by Khaled Al-Halfawi and “The Passage” by Sharif Arafa, and “Blue Elephant 2” By Marwan Hamed, “The Treasure 2”, directed by Sharif Arafa, “Wlad Rizk 2”, directed by Tariq Al-Arian, “Khayal Mata” by Khaled Marai, and “Lama Bintold” by Tamer Ezzat.
