‘Modi has no challenges in Lok Sabha elections’: RLJD may join BJP alliance

Patna: Upendra Khushwaha, who resigned from the Janata Dal (U) and formed the Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal (RLJD), is likely to join the BJP alliance. BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand responded that RLJD is welcome to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Senior BJP leader Sushil Modi said that Upendra Khushwaha’s resignation is a sign of a big explosion in the JDU.

Upendra Khushwaha did not give a clear answer to the question of whether he would join the NDA, but he did not hesitate to show his inclination towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Upendra Khushwaha said that Narendra Modi has no challenges in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Opposition efforts under the leadership of Nitish Kumar will fail. He said that there are many prime ministerial candidates in the opposition parties.

The NDA has weakened in Bihar as the JD(U) moved into the grand alliance. It is a situation where there are no strong allies with the BJP. The Lok Janashakti parties led by Union Ministers Pashupati Paras and Chirag Paswan are with the BJP but there is no mutual unity. Former Union Minister R. C. P. Singh, who left JD(U) earlier, may join BJP. The BJP is also trying to dislodge the Jitan Ram Manjhi-led Hindustani Awam Morcha from the grand alliance.

English Summary: Bihar: Upendra Kushwaha has little option but to align with BJP again
