The recent update of Call of duty : Modern Warfare introduced the crossbow to the game, and it looks like this new weapon is particularly powerful.
The massive patch 1.13 on Modern Warfare was released on January 22 on Modern Warfare, fixing many major issues and adding new content for Call of Duty fans.
This update also included the return of an iconic weapon of Call of Duty, the crossbow.
Although the crossbow is often present on the various opuses of CoD, it is not always a viable weapon.
However, the Modern Warfare crossbow appears to be significantly stronger than the older versions.
Reddit user Ricardo029 recently demonstrated how effective the crossbow is by demonstrating its capabilities against the Mastodon killstreak.

In a clip he published, we can see that with a simple shot from the crossbow, the Mastodon could be eliminated instantly.
The fact that the crossbow can one shot the Mastodon was probably not wanted by Infinity Ward, so it is possible that changes will be made to this weapon in the coming weeks.
