Mobile Vikings expands data bundles of three subscriptions – IT Pro – News

Mobile Vikings is increasing the data bundles of three subscriptions, with the rates remaining the same. The provider also cancels a subscription of 25 euros per month; customers are transferred to a subscription of 20 euros per month.

Belgian telecom provider Mobile Vikings reports in a press release that the data bundles of the 15 euro, 20 euro and 29 euro subscriptions are being adjusted. Customers with a subscription of 15 or 20 euros receive 5GB extra data per month. This raises those bundles in total to 10GB and 15GB respectively. Customers with an ‘unlimited’ subscription of 29 euros receive a total of 50GB of ‘fast data’ per month. Previously it was 20GB. Users exceeding this limit will be switched to a slower internet speed of 512kbit/s.

At the same time, the provider is canceling a subscription of 25 euros per month. For that amount, users got 12GB of data and unlimited calls and texts. Customers with this subscription will be transferred to the subscription of 20 euros per month, which now includes 15GB of data. That plan also offers unlimited calling and texting.

Mobile Vikings extended the data bundles of other plans also out in May. This also included the subscription of 20 euros; the data bundle was then increased from 7GB to 10GB. In May, the provider also increased the bundles of the subscriptions from 10 and 12 euros, to 1.5GB and 2.5GB respectively.
