Mobile Phone Payment: How to Pay with Your Cell Phone and Mobile Phone Bill

Pay with your cell phone

You pay with your cell phone via your mobile phone bill or your prepaid credit. There are no additional fees added to the price of the product. You can pay amounts up to €30.00 using this method.

During the purchase process, please enter your mobile phone number in the field shown. You will receive a toll-free transaction number (TAN) via SMS. To confirm the payment, enter the TAN in the online form.

The TAN can only be used once and is valid for 15 minutes. After using the TAN, the amount will be deducted from your mobile phone bill or from your prepaid credit. If you do not use the TAN, it expires after 15 minutes and you will not incur any costs.

You can only use mobile phone payment with a German mobile phone number, even from abroad. This service is not available for landline numbers.

Payment by mobile phone is not possible with the following providers:

  • Provider von Telefonica: Ortel, QSC, GoClever, Tele2, Getsmart, yourfone, Kaufland
  • Vodafone: 1und1

As a Vodafone prepaid customer, you must reload your card once to use the service.

Possible reasons if you don’t receive an SMS:

  • Incorrect cell phone number: You made a mistake when entering the number.

  • Company cell phone: Your company contract does not allow you to use this service.

  • Prepaid contract: Your credit is not sufficient.

  • Blocked: Your SIM card is blocked.

We use the service provider “Mobile Business Engine GmbH” to process payments via mobile phone. If you have any questions regarding technical processing, please contact: info(at)mbe4.de.

Here you can get an overview of your completed payment transactions: https://portal.mbe4.de/mbe4customer/. Please enter your mobile number and confirm it with the TAN that you will receive via SMS.
