UPIA (Arunachal Pradesh): Kerala wins Santosh Trophy football R. The final quarter-final at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in UP Kerala lost to Mizoram in Nal through sudden death.
Match with both teams to score in regular time and extra time Ram went to penalty shootout. Kerala and Mizoram netted the first five kicks in the shootout.
V.R. took the seventh kick for Kerala. The ball flew out of Sujith’s boot. With a 7-6 win, Mizoram advanced to the semis. Sujith Kalath arrived as a substitute in the 115th minute. Mizoram’s opponents in the semis are Services.

The semi-final matches are tomorrow. Services and Mizoram will meet in the first semi. The kickoff of this match is at 2.30 pm. The second semi will be played between Goa and Manipur at 7 pm.
