The Mallorcan club, which since this summer has the German tour operator MITourA as its main sponsor, has been strengthened with the aim of consolidating a project that has been able to remain in the third national category.
The great signing has occurred on the bench. The Marratxí club closed the incorporation of former international Julio Fis as coach of the first team. Joining him is Gerard Mwanjele, who took over as coach midway through last season.
Among the reinforcements this season are the players Andreu Fernández, Iván Monteiro, Nico Cecchini and Juanmi Lucio from Madrid, who arrive with the aim of strengthening last season’s block. In this regard, it should be noted that the Handbol Marratxí board of directors managed to renew players such as Guille Carranza, Pablo Olivares, Pedro Samuel, Lucas Ferrer or Asier Cabanas.
MITourA Marratxí has played six games this preseason, in which they have won four and only had two defeats (against HC Eivissa of the Silver Honor Division).
