The man who went missing in the sea near Julianadorp on Sunday afternoon and subsequently washed ashore on the beach has died. That reports the WE Sunday night.
After washing ashore, the man was immediately resuscitated and taken to hospital.
According to the WE it is a 37-year-old man from Poland. The man tried to rescue three children from the water and then went missing. The three children were brought to safety.
The Royal Dutch Rescue Agency (KNRM) said in conversation with Sunday NH News that the three children ended up in a so-called mouse current, a current towards the open sea.
