The Misfits Gaming Group is expanding its partnership with the NBA clubs Miami Heat & Orlando Magic. The in-depth collaboration should create more opportunities for the respective teams and markets.
Misfits rely on NBA expertise
Both Miami Heat and Orlando Magic have long supported eSports in different areas. In addition, both organizations lead their own teams in basketball simulation NBA 2K. The new deal allows both teams to use Misfits Gaming’s rights, brands and property to strengthen their own brands or form partnerships. They also want to promote misfits in marketing, advertising, digital sales and sponsorship. On the other hand, the Misifts Gaming Group (MGG) gets contacts to NBA partners, potential sponsors and participation in future agreements.
NBA and eSports continue to grow together
The expanded partnership gives NBA teams access to some of the largest eSports events in the world. These include the Overwatch League, Call of Duty League or the League of Legends European Championship.
