As detailed from the Minsal, no region has reduced its cases in the last seven days and only one has done so in the last fourteen days.
In the daily report, from the Health portfolio, they also pointed out that the positivity rate is 14.15%, with a total of 18,936 exams, PCR and antigen tests taken.
Of the 3,565 new cases, 69% were diagnosed by antigen tests, 23% originate from active case finding (BAC) and 8% of those notified are asymptomatic.
According to sampling, the regions cWith the highest positivity in the last week are O’Higgins, Antofagasta, Los Lagos and Biobío.
To date, the total number of people who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country amounts to 5,203,532. Of this total, 10,472 patients are in the active stage.
Regarding the deceased, according to the information provided by the Department of Statistics and Health Information (DEIS), In the last 24 hours, 10 deaths were registered due to causes associated with Covid-19. The total deaths amount to 64,311 in the country.
