Ministry of Education Provides Scholarships for Over 53,000 Students in 2023

The Ministry of Education enabled the payment of Socio-educational Scholarships for a total of 53,079 students of secondary education and of the special modality.

In this regard, the provincial director of Equity and Rights of the educational portfolio, Vanina Flesia, stated that “for us it is very important to work in the line of scholarships from the perspective of our priority policy, so that all boys and girls can be at school learning.

In this sense, the official specified that “from an educational justice perspective, we reach out to families with this encouragement to strengthen those educational trajectories that are weakened due to socio-economic problems, keeping in mind that scholarships do not solve structural problems, but They allow us to accompany and have better guarantees for the right to education”.

The mechanism provides for schools to view the list of beneficiaries in the Sigae Web – Scholarship Module management system, which also details the different ways in which the benefit can be collected: through CBU, ODE (Extraction Order without card), or rechargeable cards from Banco de Santa Fe.

In this regard, the educational portfolio clarified that it is essential that the school communicate with the people responsible for collecting the benefit to notify them of the date and how they will receive the scholarship payment, as well as the instructions to collect.
