Following a meeting with the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Stella Kyriakides, the Czech Minister of Health, Vlastimil Válek, announced that he would propose to the next Council of Ministers a simplification of the rules concerning employment of Ukrainian health professionals. These health professionals would be specifically assigned to the care of Ukrainian refugees.
The recognition of foreign qualifications is organized at the level of the whole of the European Union. Stella Kyriakides said that the European Commission was working on a solution for the recognition of qualifications which would be valid for all member states.
