The Minister of Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, confirmed, after his meeting with the head of the “Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development,” former MP Bahia Hariri, that “everyone knows that the primary concern of the Ministry of Health today is to raise the readiness of the health sector, especially within the circumstances that Lebanon is going through, in light of The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as well as on the border strip in southern Lebanon.”
He explained, “We are concerned about the health preparedness of the regions, and in Sidon there is a distinct experience in the health sector and in terms of coordination between the various parties in this sector.”
