Retired Army Captain Rafael Harvey will finally have an audience with Defense Minister Mario Desbordes to expose cases of alleged corruption to which he had access while he was part of the military institution.
This audience had repeatedly requested it from the previous minister, Alberto Espina, but it only received refusals.
This appointment with Minister Desbordes was scheduled for next September 2.
“Regardless of the result, his attitude of Statesman with granting audience must be recognized,” said Harvey through his social networks after confirming the audience.
According to Harvey, the case he wants to report occurred in 2015. However, once this investigation request began, it was withdrawn on May 22 by the Undersecretariat of the Armed Forces, under an exempt decree.
