Forty-eight (48) hours after the visit of opposition deputies who were greeted with a weapon by a vigil, the Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, made the trip on Tuesday July 14, in Ndengler, locality located in the department of Mbour. This, to inquire about the situation following the land dispute between peasants and the CEO of Sedima, Babacar Ngom.
According to Liberation online, Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, who was in the company of his colleague, Minister of Town Planning, Abdou Karim Fofana, and the local administrative authorities, made this surprise visit to the disputed site with a view to verifying, with supporting documents , the statements of the two parties, namely the businessman, Babacar Ngom, and the inhabitants of the village.
Better, the delegation exchanged at length with the peasants of the other surrounding villages to have a clear idea on the history of the occupation and the exploitation of these grounds.
