A first in history. Faced with the threat of another boycott, the NBA canceled all evening meetings.

The Milwaukee Bucks chose to boycott the 5e match of their series against Orlando, to protest against police violence. The action comes as anger grows in the United States, three days after the broadcast of a video showing a black man, Jacob Blake, shot in the back by several bullets fired at close range by a white police officer, in the city of Kenosha (Wisconsin). The 29-year-old survived but is in critical condition after undergoing surgery.
The Bucks did not show up on the field, fifteen minutes before kick-off to warm up, unlike those of the Magic, well present them on the floor.
NBA cancels all evening games
Under the pressure of two other boycotts, the NBA made the decision to cancel the other two meetings of the night (Houston Rockets – Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers – Portland TrailBlazers).
