“You must always understand that in the first place, of course, are the Americans in this rating, and then everyone else. That is, they, at the expense of the Russian marines, raise the credibility of their marines … In general, we have a lot of combat experience in the marine corps, and this is a victorious combat experience, unlike the American, ”Litovkin said.
The expert added that the 61st separate marine brigade is located in the village of Sputnik on the Kola Peninsula.
“These are people who train in harsh Arctic conditions, in which Americans do not train. Therefore, our marine corps is really prepared at a very high level, ”he concluded.
Formerly The National Interest magazine included the Russian marines in the top five in the world, noting her good training and combat readiness.
In the ranking of the publication, she took second place. The authors of the material noted the 61st separate brigade of the Marine Corps, calling it one of the most experienced units of the Russian army.
