In the domestic program “When they meet” an actor from Mikhail Chekhov’s Riga Russian Theater is visiting the studio Maxim Bussel. Being recognizable and loved in society, Maxim will share his thoughts about nudity on stage.
Maxim says:
“I’ve been on stage in swimming trunks, I’ve never been completely naked.”
I don’t mind if nudity is justified.
“If the director simply wants to have nudity on stage, it is no longer a surprise. The first thing that came to my mind is that I see naked people more than once in the performances of Viestura Kairis – and I understand why this is so.
It was a long time ago when I was at the opera – there was no excuse.”
