American skier Mikaela Shiffrin replaced one of her long-term coaches shortly before the Beijing Olympics.
Jeff Lackie, a Canadian who stayed at home in Toronto due to persistent problems with COVID-19, will no longer be on her team. He was replaced by Coley Oliver, who has previously worked with the American team in the European Cup.
