Mika Hakkinen and Verge Motorcycles have announced the design of a new electric superbike, of which only 100 certified units will be produced.

Earlier this year, the Formula 1 world legend and the Finnish brand formed a partnership after Hakkinen was appointed to the company’s advisory board. In addition, the two-time world champion is one of the brand’s investors.

The new 100% electric luxury superbike features an elegant and bold design and unique technologies developed by Verge Motorcycles. Refined down to the last detail, the model is the most powerful and advanced electric superbike on the market, with a range of 350 km on a single charge (which takes only 35 minutes when using the fast charger).

Top quality materials

The electric motor is integrated in the rear wheel, a patented and internationally awarded innovation from the Finnish motorcycle manufacturer. The new EV is manufactured using only the highest quality materials, making it a truly outstanding product.

For example, the Verge features carbon bodywork and a unique ceramic surface treatment that protects against scratches. There are also completely black shock absorbers and details, combined with dark gray and silver surface elements.

The unique electric superbike designed by Mika Hakkinen is available for sale from today at the Verge Motorcycles online store. The sales price is 80,000 euros (excluding tax).
