Done chocolate dreams: the Chocolat Frey visitor center in Buchs, which was closed with the lockdown in March, will remain permanently closed. That’s what Radio Argovia reports.
The Migros subsidiary Chocolat Frey writes on its website: “Factors such as profitability, use and, in particular, the protection concepts in connection with Corona to protect visitors and employees, which would have to be observed when reopening, ultimately led to the decision to permanently relocate the visitor center conclude. We very much regret that we will no longer be able to personally welcome the many chocolate fans to the adventure world in Buchs in the future and thank you for the great interest in our products. “
The visitor center opened in 2014. In these years it had a total of more than a quarter of a million visitors. Chocolat Frey is one of the largest Migros production companies. It is also active internationally and has a correspondingly high export share. (nro)
