After Franculino Djú, Midtjylland once again recruited a promising youngster from Benfica. Alamara Djabi, a 16-year-old midfielder, ended his contract with the Reds and signed a three-year contract with the Danes.
“This is a very interesting project for me and I am looking forward to developing myself as a player and as a person at a big club in Denmark,” Djabi told Midtjylland media.
«At the same time, I am happy to meet Franculino again. It’s amazing and it’s something I’m proud of. I look forward to the fact that one day, possibly, we will play side by side in the Midtjylland jersey », he added.
Despite being only 16 years old, Alamara Djabi, a Portuguese-Guinean, made 34 appearances for Benfica’s youth team last season, in which he scored five goals and added one assist.
