Microsoft Outlook is out of order worldwide

Microsoft has a worldwide outage with its Outlook services. The problems started around 8 a.m. on Thursday and affect both the Outlook website and apps for desktop and mobile devices.

Initially, Microsoft reported that the problems were mainly in India, but later the company confirmed that Outlook users worldwide are affected. On Allestoringen many reports from the Netherlands can also be seen. Microsoft refers users to the admin center, where more details could be found under the entry of EX223208. Microsoft is also providing updates on the outage through its status page.

It is the second major glitch in Microsoft services this week. On Monday there were more than six hours of problems with Microsoft 365 services. According to Microsoft, the cause was a change that had been made. By reversing those, the problems were solved. Microsoft now says it is investigating ‘recent changes’ again.
