Yesterday we attended the gala to present the new Michelin stars of the Michelin Guide Spain and Portugal 2020, and we inform instantly of news through the blog and social networks. But, as every year, today we want to review the guide in more detail, that is, all the restaurants that appear in each category, the restaurants that lose their star, those that have obtained the Bib Gourmand distinction, the inclusion of some photographs taken at the gala, etc.
In the category of three Michelin stars there is a new restaurant, the Gazebo of Amos from the chef Jesús Sánchez, now, the number of establishments in this category amounts to 11. The guide’s inspectors comment that the chef has obtained the highest distinction for his tireless search to provoke gastronomic excitement in customers, for the respect of flavors Cantabrians and for their expression on the plates, among other issues. The rest of the restaurants have revalidated their stars, except for the Dani García Restaurant in Marbella (Málaga), which announced its closure due to a change in business model, as you already know.
