23-year-old Czech forward Michal Kvasnica joined the team of HC 19 Humenné hockey players. He started the ongoing 2023/2024 season in the second highest Finnish competition, Mestis, in which he played 16 games and scored eight Canadian points (2+6). The extra-league newcomer informed about the new acquisition on social networks.
Kvasnica was a regular representative of the Czech Republic during the youth seasons. He started at the World Cup for under-18 players and also at the prestigious Hlinka Gretzky Cup tournament. He also spent two years in the Canadian junior WHL competition and has already tasted the Czech extra league and the international Ice Hockey League competition. In the Finnish competition, Mestis played a total of 73 games in which he collected 54 Canadian points for 21 goals and 32 assists.
Kvasnica has also worked in the American WHL, where he played 66 games for the Portland Winterhawks in the 2018/2019 season.
