NEW YORK (Dagbladet): The mayor of Miami Beach, Dan Gelber, announced the dramatic tightening after large numbers of students in particular have flocked to the city recently to celebrate and have the annual American spring break, Spring Break.
It works poorly in the midst of a pandemic, according to local authorities in the popular beach town.

At a press conference on Saturday, he announced that the city will introduce a curfew from 8 pm local time. In addition, the access roads to Miami Beach from the mainland will be closed to anything but local traffic for the next few nights.
The state of emergency will last for at least 72 hours.
