“Methamphetamine worth Rs 25,000 crore seized in deep sea near Kochi, Pakistani national to be produced in court”

Kochi: The Narcotics Control Bureau said that methamphetamine worth Rs 25,000 crore was seized in the deep sea in Kochi yesterday. 2525 kg of methamphetamine was seized. It took a day to count the seized drugs.

In the first phase yesterday, the NCB had said that drugs worth around Rs 15,000 were seized. A detailed calculation was done after this. The drug was seized during a joint inspection conducted by the Navy and the NCB. NCB has decided to produce the drug in court tomorrow.

The Pakistani national who was caught intoxicated will also be produced in court. The intention was to present him before the magistrate today, but the enumeration was delayed. The NCB will submit an application to release the accused in custody after being produced in the court tomorrow.
