The Indonesian Market Traders Association (Ikappi) revealed data that there were 768 market traders in Indonesia positively affected by the Corona virus, most in DKI Jakarta. DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is asked to be more open in prevention efforts COVID-19 in the market.
From the data obtained detikcom, DKI Jakarta occupies the first position of positive cases of COVID-19 traders with 192 positive cases in 26 markets. Data collected as of June 26, 2020.
So far there have been no cases of market traders who died from COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.
“DKI is indeed one of the highest provinces, yes. It follows that before West Sumatra, West Sumatra is now starting to fall, now DKI and East Java are the highest,” said Ketum Ikappi Abdullah Mansuri when contacted on Sunday (08/28/2020).
The second position is occupied by East Java with 127 cases with 14 cases died. In total there were 768 cases of traders affected by COVID-19 with 32 dead in Indonesia.
In the past two weeks, Abdullah said there was a surge in positive cases. That followed the rapid test rhythm as well swab test by the regional government.
