The limited edition Mercedes-AMG S63 plug-in hybrid is painted in Alpine gray from the Manufaktur range and rides on 21-inch forged wheels. It also comes with the AMG Exterior Night Package, which brings dark chrome or high-gloss black exterior accents.
Other goodies include a silver-chrome fuel tank cap with AMG logo, tinted windows and red brake calipers.
The automaker has yet to release images of the interior, but mentions that the Edition 1 features black Nappa leather upholstery with contrasting red stitching, which is also found on the Nappa leather-wrapped sports steering wheel.

The black and red look is a recurring theme throughout the interior, with the special edition getting an exclusive Edition 1 logo etched into the center console as well as illuminated red AMG logos on the door sills.

Like the basic version of the S 63 E Performance, this special edition also has a four-liter eight-cylinder with plug-in hybrid assistance, and therefore a system output of 590 kW, 802 hp, and a maximum torque of 1430 Nm. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and stops at the limiter at 290 km/h. At the same time, after a full charge, it can travel 33 km on electricity.
Edition 1 will cost 208,000 euros on the domestic German market, i.e. 4.8 million crowns.
