Mercato – Miranda leaves Schalke and returns to Barcelona

Loaned for two seasons at Schalke 04, the Spanish left back Juan Miranda (20 years old) is already making his return to Barcelona.

Juan Miranda returns to Barcelona. In a press release on Wednesday, the Catalan club announced that it had reached an agreement with Schalke 04 to end the loan from the left side who was to honor his second year in Germany.

“The player will return to FC Barcelona in the coming days. After a season with the Bundesliga club, the defender returns to Barça. He has played 11 games (781 minutes) with Schalke 04”, recalls the FCB on its official website.

Recruited by Barcelona in 2014 from Betis Seville, Miranda made his first team debut in the 2018/19 season. He participated in a Champions League match against Tottenham. The announcement of his return does not mean that he will stay at the club.
