Mende Hiking Festival 2024: Dates, Program, and Registration Information

The 7th edition of the Mende Hiking Festival will take place on May 9, 10 and 11, 2024

Since 2017, the Festival has introduced the countless paths of the Lozère department, in a friendly atmosphere.

On the initiative of the town of Mende and the Tourist Office and in partnership with hiking clubs and the FFRandonnée Lozère committeethe Hiking Festival offers you a different program each year, dozens of hikes of varying lengths and difficulties to meet your needs and your thirst for discovery.

Suitable for all levels, the hikes offered with shuttle and supervision from Mende will allow you to explore the landscapes of Lozère.

The hikes will be led by qualified leaders from hiking clubs affiliated with FFRandonnée.

  • May 9
    URBAN PATH V
    From Pont-de-Montvert to Grizac

    8 km, 300 D+, bring picnic
    Supervision: FFRandonnée Lozère Committee/Hiking Club for All
    2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Welcome and story at the Château de Grizac by Mr. Framond
    Price: €8. Bus departure: Foirail 8:30 a.m.
  • Saturday May 11
    TWO-DAY ROOMING CAN DE L’HOSPITALET
    Roaming over 2 days / limited to 19 people.
    THE CAN DE L’HOSPITALET via GR® 7/LES VANELS/FRAISSINET DE FOURQUES/THE SITE OF NÎMES LE VIEUX/L’HOM
    Accommodation: Gîte de l’HOM
    1st day: 20 km, 800 D+
    2nd day: 22.5 km, 450 D+
