On the morning of March 29, explosions thundered in Ukrainian Melitopol, occupied by Russian troops, after which electricity was lost in part of the city and several neighboring villages.

According to RIA Melitopol, the explosions resounded in the northern part of the city and in the area of ​​​​the military airfield, in total, local residents counted up to ten “arrivals”.

Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov reportedthat one explosion occurred in the substation area of ​​the locomotive depot.


In turn, the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov declaredthat the city was shelled by the APU. He also confirmed that the locomotive depot and other objects of the city’s energy infrastructure had hit the substation. According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the explosions.

On March 27, in Melitopol, the building of a multidisciplinary college, which, according to Ivan Fedorov, housed Russian security forces, came under fire. According to Vladimir Rogov, four people were injured in the explosion.
