Princess Diana would have turned 60 on July 1, 1997, but she died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997. In honor of what should have been a special milestone, a statue of William and Harry’s mother will be unveiled on July 1 in the garden of Kensington Palace, where William and Catherine live.
Reportedly, both princes will give a separate speech in tribute to their mother.
