Meghan Markle does not attend Prince Philip’s funeral, this is the Queen’s response

On April 9, Prince Philip passed away. Hearing the sad news, as a grandson, Prince Harry immediately traveled to England to attend his grandfather’s funeral which is planned to be held on April 17. However, Prince Harry is not accompanied by Meghan Markle and their first son, Archie.

Prince Harry flew to England on Sunday (11/4/2021), then underwent quarantine first. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle remains in the United States. Yes, Meghan’s absence at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II’s husband was due to her pregnant condition, Mother.

“[Meghan] had been advised by his doctors not to travel, “said a spokesman for the British Empire.

Meghan Markle remains in California with their son, Archie, who turns 2 this coming May.

“Of course, Harry will return to England after his grandfather dies,” a source in California told People.

The source added that after Prince Philip’s death, Meghan and Harry had communicated with the Queen. It is said, the Queen also understands Meghan’s condition, who cannot possibly travel.

“Meghan expressed her condolences. The Queen understands why she cannot travel at this time,” said the source.

Harry is currently isolating himself at his home with Meghan in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage. While Prince Philip’s funeral ceremony is scheduled for Saturday (17/4/2021) starting at 03.30 pm local time, at the Chapel of St. George, Windsor Castle.

Prince Harry and Prince William both shared their loving tribute to their grandfather. Upon arriving in England, Prince Harry released a statement via the Archewell communications team.

In his message, he reflects on the fondest memories he shares with his grandfather. Prince Harry’s remarks came shortly after his brother, Prince William, also released a warning message in honor of the Duke of Edinburgh, which was shared via the Kensington Royal Instagram account.
