Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan plan to settle in Los Angeles, according to a report by the English newspaper Sun. The newspaper reported Thursday that Meghan and Harry left Canada and flew to Los Angeles on a private jet. A spokeswoman for Prince Harry did not want to comment on this.

Harry and Meghan had announced in January that they would partially withdraw from their royal duties and become financially independent. However, the two later agreed on a clear break with the royal family. Accordingly, they waived the title “Royal Highness” from April and no longer performed official duties for the Royals.

The couple last lived in Canada with their son Archie, and they are said to have moved to California. Meghan Markle grew up in Los Angeles, her mother still lives there. “They realized that Canada would not work for various reasons and they want to settle in the Los Angeles area,” the Sun quoted an anonymous royal insider.
