Megawati’s orders for PDIP to become the first political party to register for KPU

PDI-P (PDIP) will register with the General Elections Commission (KPU) tomorrow. PDIP will be the first political party to register as participants in the 2024 General Election.

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said the PDIP would arrive at the time when the KPU opened at 08.00 WIB. PDIP wants to be the first political party to register with the KPU on the orders of Ketum Megawati Soekarno Putri

“Officially tomorrow morning on August 1, 2022, the PDI-P DPP will register the first to the KPU in this political party verification. Why are we registering the first, because the KPU opens at 8 (morning) and at 8 o’clock we are the first to register. Because this is an instruction from Chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri in the last National Working Meeting,” said Hasto at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Sunday (31/7/2022).

Hasto said PDIP is committed to consistently following all stages of the general election.

“That as PDIP’s commitment, is really consistent in participating in all stages of the election, we are ordered to be the first and the whole system is running well and we will see the stages,” he said.

Will Walk To KPU

Hasto said his party would walk to the KPU office at 07.30 WIB. In fact, he said, PDIP had already conducted trials in calculating the distance to the KPU.

“Tomorrow we will walk as part of the green economy as well as mental and physical health. From the Diponegoro DPP office, we will go to the KPU,” he said.

“We left here at 7.25 (morning) this morning, we had a trial coming to the KPU for about 20 minutes so we came on time,” he added.

The procession was led by Hasto Kristiyanto as Secretary General of the PDI-P and Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) for Election Winning, Bambang Wuriyanto. He said that tomorrow’s agenda will be the signing of the minutes, symbolic verification of political parties and the submission of several other documents.

“Tomorrow we will formally sign the minutes, verify and symbolically submit several documents to the KPU. Tomorrow from the internal field, we have consulted with the General Chairwoman. from the Ketum is Bambang Wuriyanto and I am the Secretary General,” he concluded.
