That the community meeting in Iseltwald would go ahead despite the corona pandemic was a pretty sure thing. Because: It was valid on Friday evening for the 48 attendees to elect two new members of the parish council. And that traditionally happens in Iseltwald at the meeting, no names are communicated in advance.
The Iseltwalder wrote the name of David von Bergen (36 votes) on the red ballot most frequently in the first ballot. In the election for the second seat in the municipal council, Patric Kaufmann (34 votes) prevailed against Ernst Abegglen in the second ballot. Von Bergen und Kaufmann replace Hans Abegglen and Walter Brunner-Prost, who could not be re-elected due to the expiry of their term of office. Both were adopted with loud applause.
