Meerut. Van Mahotsav is being celebrated in Uttar Pradesh. A target has been set to plant 35 crore trees in the entire state. Lakhs of saplings are being planted in Meerut alone during the Van Mahotsav week. At the age of ten, this girl has planted more than 12 thousand saplings so far. Class VII students are also studying about this Green Warrior, who has been honored by the President and the Prime Minister, in their syllabus.
