Medvedev threatens again. This time with the end of civilization

Medvedev’s latest judgments are presented in his column in the Russian pro-Kremlin newspaper “Izvestia”.

In this column, he once again comments on the reasons for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and outlines an apocalypse scenario if questions arise about the existence of Russia itself.

“The beginning of the tragedy that is currently unfolding in Ukraine was laid at the moment when the Soviet Union collapsed. After the rise of the empire, a long road to the same finale is expected – disintegration and war,” writes Medvedev.

“It also happened with the USSR, however, in a delayed version. The war could have started sooner, but it started now. The catalyst for the war was the unfrozen and cynical attitude of the Western world,” he adds.

Medvedev, a trusted aide of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, believes that the war in Ukraine was not caused by Russia, but by two events.

The first event was in August 2008, when the West allegedly supported Georgia’s aggression against the Ossetians. The second event is said to be the spring of 2014, when the West is said to have fallen into hysteria over the desire expressed in the “referendum” of the people of Crimea to join the historical homeland of Russia.

That is why the West decided to create a special “Anti-Russia” in Ukraine.

Medevdev also points out that the West, which destroyed the Soviet Union, will never do the same to Russia.

“If the question of the existence of Russia itself seriously arises, it will be solved not on the Ukrainian front, but together with the question of the further existence of the entire human civilization. We don’t need a world without Russia,” says Medvedev.
