sport">As number 2 in the gold ranking, the American team (31-36-31) expanded the large collection of honorary metal to 98 pieces. Host nation Japan (24-11-16) remained third, now followed by Great Britain (18-19-20), Russia (17-23-22) and Australia (17-6-21).
