Triathlete Diego van Looy (30) from Mechelen is seriously injured in a hospital on the Spanish Balearic Islands. On Monday, he was hit by a truck during a training ride in Mallorca. The consequences were not minor: he suffered a broken neck, among other things. Despite everything, the sportsman remains positive: “Hopefully I have more luck next time”, he responds from his hospital bed.
